Good afternoon, class!

Let’s learn how to move an electrical outlet in your bathroom.

Today we are going ELECTRIC. All bathrooms need an electrical outlet. However, there are a few things to remember when installing or moving an electrical outlet in a bathroom…

Moving an electrical outlet in a bathroom isn't always as easy as expected. If you are remodeling a bathroom, it is typically a good idea to replace all the drywall so you can address any electrical or plumbing issues. In this video, I will show a common issue that I see a lot in older homes—an outlet that has been connected to the lighting circuit. This is not a good method to adding an outlet in a bathroom. Hair dryers require a dedicated circuit and breaker since they have heating element and use a lot of energy. #bathroomremodelingteacher #stevewhite
