Hey students!

When you purchase an older home, especially in the city of Pittsburgh, chances are it is going to have an old bathroom in it. It’s important to remember this fact: old bathrooms can be a VERY labor intensive, but not impossible.

You will need to be prepared with the right tools and proper protective gear (especially a respirator!!!!). The importance of a good respirator for this kind of project is everything. You must protect your lungs (and eyes!) from all the dust, dirt, and debris.

In this video I demonstrate my method of removing old tile over mud bed walls in a 1960's bathroom. This is not to scare you away from attempting to do this yourself, but rather to prepare you for what's involved.
