You know I LOVE tile, and I can't believe I'm saying it… but these waterproof laminate flooring systems are awesome! 💥 Slip resistant, softer feel on the feet, & definitely a lot warmer than tile (unless you have heated flooring, of course 😊). The fact that it is a fraction of the cost of real tile AND it’s easier to install also helps sway many homeowners into buying it.
In this video, I demonstrate how to install SmartCore Waterproof Laminate Flooring.
Just to give you a quick rundown, I talk about laminate flooring versus tile flooring, along with all the tools you will need to install the laminate flooring.
I also go over the layout pattern and how to cut the laminate.
I share my cutting trick for the laminate around a door jamb, and the best tips on how to click the laminate flooring together.
Finally, I discuss the door transition and sealing that gap between the shower base and new flooring.
