If you are going through the trouble of renovating a bathroom, then I highly recommend getting the most out of the space! In this video, I demonstrate the demo process of removing a shower, moving the drain for a new shower, and the how to go about expanding the size of a shower.
Removing walls and subflooring will definitely give you an idea of what your working with and whether it’s possible to get a bigger shower. Most waterproof shower systems these days can be cut down to custom sizes. This shower is being prepped for a WEDI shower system.
