It’s always best to have multiple electrical boxes on hand when installing light fixtures above a bathroom vanity. In this video, I demonstrate how to go about installing electrical boxes for a double sink vanity.
In this situation, I had a 2x4 stud in the middle of one of the light fixtures, and the other one there was nothing behind it. So, using a 4" pancake box and an old work box did the trick.
